Salawat: Equivalence to Major Dhikr

Hawzah News Agency- Imam Ridha (pbuh) said:

الصَّلَاةُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ تُعَدَلُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ التَّسْبِيحَ وَ التَّهْلِيلَ وَ التَّكْبِيرَ.

Sending blessings (salawat) upon Muhammad and his Household is equivalent, in the sight of Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, to Tasbeeh (glorification), Tahlil (declaration of oneness), and Takbir (declaration of greatness).
